So this week we decided to move the gaming podcast over to Saturday and David's suggestion to do so last week seems to have really worked out!

Now, we only have a few topics below but we did discuss them in pretty decent detail today and the podcast is coming in right around an hour and 15 min. so I hope you all enjoy it and we will see you tomorrow for the tech podcast.

- Diablo III Give-a-way! - Join us in this crazy ass game! - How it will work. I really want this to be for someone who cannot afford the game. Not everybody out there has $60 in their pocket and I know that we have a few of our members who are probably hurting for cash and I would love nothing more then to give one of those folks this game. Hello everyone and welcome to the gaming podcast!

I just wanted everyone to know that, while this is a little bit late getting up, this podcast is what I would call kludged together at best.

We record the podcast, as I said yesterday, on probably the busiest phone calling day of the year and we ended up with some problems with Skype.

One of the main things was we started to get feedback and while was able to cut most of it out you can still hear some some of the time.

So what we end up doing was hanging up and then calling back in and restarting. This happened three times so you're going here two areas in the podcast where music will start playing. Those are the areas where we hung up and restarted and, while I realize it's inconvenient, I really wanted to get this podcast up because with all of the talk of how bad the Microsoft $99 plus the two-year contract XBOX seems to be drawing, Dustin actually bought one and he says "oh quite contrary" (he actually says that... weird little kid). Here what the boy has to say about it.

Anyway, we had a great time doing the podcast as we always do but I want to remind everyone that we are going to shift the podcast's around a little bit so, it's easier on everyone's voice (plus, my butt starts to hurt if I sit longer than an hour and a half in my chair.)

We don't speak nor talk about what's just on the list below as I believe those of you who have listened to our podcast in the past realize we have a tendency of tailing off here and there so we end up talking about other games which you may be interested in that we don't have in the notes because it wasn't scheduled to be talked about.

For instance, Dustin picked up the game (at full price mind you) of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - and he says it's a really good game! We talk about it for probably five or 10 min. and I'm glad that he mentioned it because next time it comes up on sale I might pick it up.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the moms out there! 

Well, this podcast quickly went off the rails (as is the norm around here). 

We held the podcast on the number 1 calling day of the year with Skype, yep... Mothers Day and while the tech podcast came out okay, the gaming podacast had to be restarted three times and it's taking me longer to merge it all than I thought so look for that podcast tomorrow. It's going to take a little to get it all put together. Skype was PACKED with callers and I'm sure if we would have thought about it, we would have done the podcast yesterday.

Also, for some reason I was getting a weird buzz at the end of some of the words via my mic and while I tried to fix it, it seemed to be mixed into what I was saying and I simply could not isolate the sound to get rid of it (thus the reason the delay in getting even this podcast up!). Skype is not the best way to record this but for now it's all we have. 

The podcast still came out very well. 

Also, I wanted to announce a little change in the podcast schedule:

- The gaming podcast will now be Saturday. 

- The Tech podcast will now be Sunday.

So this week, we had a really good time doing the gaming podcast and as you can see from the topics below we had more than enough to fill the hour plus!

Now I know I mentioned this before but I want to mention again as I really grabbed a hold of the two boys and let them know they need to start getting some gaming content up on to the site above and beyond what we already post.

Now to be fair, they just got a bunch of new equipment that I sent them so, my guess is over the next month or so they should start to get some pretty cool stuff up as we made a significant investment in their gaming platforms to allow them to record via the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3. Not cheap but well worth it.
