Build a $2,000 Gaming PC
Over the last two months, we've investigated four different ways to build a gaming PC, depending on how much money you have at your disposal. Whether you wanted to build entry-level systems for $500 or $750, or midrange machines for $1,000 or $1,500, you could do it and feel secure in the knowledge that you had both a good system and a good platform for building on later.
But sometimes money isn't a concern. Whether it's because you come into some, or because you've saved up enough to splurge, you may find yourself with more financial freedom than usual. We didn't want to go overboard—though that's easy to do with PC building, of course—so we investigated what you could do if you have a relatively large budget at your disposal: In our case, $2,000.
