The cloud continues to struggle with malware distribution problems

Yea, that is one thing they need to work on. 

From Google to Amazon to Microsoft, the big names in the IT industry are hot on the cloud — and why not? With benefits ranging from reduced lifecycle costs to improved scalability, there are some very compelling reasons for application developers and other businesses to look to the sky. Just as you’ll find undesirable types lurking in the shadows of legitimate real-world business, however, so too will you find them online.

It’s part of the cloud’s not-so-silver lining. Cybercriminals are all too aware of the power of the cloud, and they’re also aware that it’s a bit of a frontier town at the moment. Like the Wild West, policing isn’t nearly as tight as should be, and that provides ample opportunity for malware pushers.
